Eye of the coach: “It’s more difficult for Alcaraz to be dominant indoors than outdoors”

Today, I’m talking about the reasons why Carlos Alcaraz’s natural dominant game is tempered when he’s playing indoors. I think that the Spaniard is better at dealing with tricky outside conditions than most other players.
The quality of Alcaraz’s athleticism, power and feel mean he feels comfortable outdoors. Being indoors takes away that particular asset that he benefits from when he’s outside.
But I think there is no objective reason for Alcaraz not to play great tennis indoors. The indoor season is very short, so he needs to get used to that surface more than other players.
